I am unable to say which legislation the Council will use as we are still examining the implications of the Housing Act 2004
Q
Further to your reference to Housing Act 2004, surely the decision about which powers to use comes out of the process undertaken to reach the decision to demolish. It is, generally, not about the condition of houses (which would be housing) but about the need to improve the mix of housing as part of a comprehensive plan to restructure the housing market. ???
So why bring Housing Act into the mix now, at this late stage?
